Sing verse 14 for preaching under the heading. Haywire. Please listen to this sermon carefully. Please a man very important. That was Spirit of the Lord. I'm sorry. That's 1st Samuel. I'm sorry, 2nd Timothy.

2nd Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 6 and 7. For this reason. I remind you to Fan into the flame, the gift of God. Which is in you through the laying on of my hands. What does Spirit? God gave us does not make us timid or gives us power. Love and a sound mind. I like the new King James version. Sound mind a sound mind, in other words since sanity. This type of instruction, even in the midst of the circumstances that he was going through to tell his spiritual son, at that the instruction that he gives the spiritual son is to keep a sound mind seeing because it's, as we stated before it is. When we go through circumstances in life, that we start to cross connect, the wiring, in our minds, and our minds about to go Haywire. That's where my anxiety is birth. That's where depression is birth for depression. And all these emotional distress has a birth from a mine, that's gone Haywire. Amen. And 99.99% of the time, unless you were born with a deficiency. A very extreme mental deficiency. Hallelujah. The same mind, the normal mind will become a Haywire due to the stressors of life. And so, what does the question at hand is you don't? What does it mean to have a sound mind? That sound mind means to be saved. The liver is a man that has been rescued is a mind. That's an order is protective and is secure. A sound mind, I'm going to read through this list again, and I'm going to keep on reading through this list till we get it. But a sound mind is a mind that's under the control of the spirit of God. A sound mind is a stable and healthy me, a sound mind is set on God and his kingdom, A sound mind is alert and sober, A sound mind is focused and hopeful. A sound mind, is identity driven, A sound mind in a sound mind. This discipline, a sound mind, is self-control, A sound mind, is righteousness, A sound mind is obedient. How do we understand? How do we know when we have a sound mind because the sound mind and in mind that's not found a reflected in three ways. They are reflected in what we say. They are reflected in what we do. And they are reflected on how we reason. And other words, big big, the soundness of our mind is reflected in how we speak. It's a sauce. Reflected on how we think hallelujah or what we do and it also is reflected on how we reason the decisions that we make. This is why it's important to keep a sound mind. God created us to think. God created us to be men. Who think you think all the time? You never stop thinking. As I said before, even when you're dreaming, you're thinking your mind is always operated. You can't shut this thing off. This thing has it doesn't have an on-and-off button thinking. The problem is, we're Gathering. So much information on The Daily will gather. So much information on every at every moment of life, whether it's through our circumstances information and news, whatever the case may be, the key. Here is as a man of God, as a woman of God, how do I start to allocate all this information compartmentalize? It be able to to, to send it in? So that my mind is sound and it doesn't go Haywire.

Easier said than done. Some of you might say.

But here's what we've talked about last week, the worst thing that somebody came up with the best of the worst Council that somebody came up with was I just put that in the back of your mind. That thing in the back of your mind is a scary room, a room where you throw all the junk that I want to tell you that a large. I want to tell you something, you will never operates in the soundness of the mind of Christ, while your bathroom is filled with junk.

So I said before that the spirit of the Lord is giving you through this course of study that that he's giving you a key so that you can open that that back compartment and start to release some stuff. You might say it's easier said than done. You're absolutely right. It is, but it can be done. But it can be done.

What we say? What we do. 1.5 million people suffer from mental illness in the United States of America. That means that 1.5 million people in the United States. Don't operate with a sound mind.

We want to touch base in this week's last week. We spoke about Pride. Last week, we spoke about Nebuchadnezzar and how Pride. Messed up is my today. I want to talk about expired season.

There's nothing that brings more torment to a man. Been trying to relive in an expired. He's There's nothing that will exhaust you mentally physically and spiritually and continuing to try to revive something that has been expired.

In our food bank, we have to go through our food on a weekly basis and make sure that we don't give any expired food to the people who come to food bank. Because the chances are that if we give them that expired food, they're going to get sick. And I want you to understand that a lot of spiritual sickness and emotional sickness are because we're still engaging things that have expiration date. I want you to understand that God created us as people should be seasonal. We are seasonal beans. We go from power to power from glory to glory week, There's a time to. So there's a time to reap. There's a time to cry because the time even flip the most wise man on the earth, King Solomon Chapter 3, that we as individuals were created by God, by them season. That's why the number for in the kingdom of God stands for Seasons, isn't it? Amazing? That got a specific number to detail how he operates, his systematic approach to humanity and the world, everything that God created about it since Seasons, but you got to understand something Seasons expire. At some time. We want to hold on to see them. Whether they were bored or whether they were bad. And I want to tell you that some of the Haywire is that you've been holding on to an expired, emotional or spiritual season, and you're still hoping for the season to revive itself. I want you to tell you that sees this don't revive themselves once in your life. They died in your life. God has a new season for you.

It's taking for granted the god that called you. It's coming becoming comfortable with God. So what happens if I saw Stars? Fighting anyone. Give them a specific border. Hallelujah, decides to disobey that order. He has good intentions wouldn't interested but not obedience. I want you to understand something. That's Haywire is always thinking about Good Intentions. That sound is always thinking about obedience. Oh something you take notes take notes, because because when your good intentions are rendering fruitless Seasons, then you got to understand that the mind is haywire because good intentions don't produce fruit. What produces fruit is obedience?

And so now he's living the life of intention, right? Intention, wasn't good enough for God. Does not Delight in sacrifice. At the light at that. You are a great City worship pastor.

and nothing to do with the church at nothing to do with fireplaces. Is that you got your back room? So filled up? The church is the trigger. Trying to make you do some research into a season of greatness, but you're still holding on to the rides of yesterday.

Everything in this world. That's manufactured. That's to be taken. Internally, has to have an expiration date.

In other words, every spiritual season in your life has to have an expiration date. Don't think for a moment. The guy's just going to let you ride one way for the rest of your life when there's a whole ocean.

You want to grab your surfboard and ride the same way that you were riding a two thousand four? When you first got saved, I got news for you. That's a new wave coming to your town. If you don't catch it to send another one as you don't catch, it will send another one. If you don't catch it, to send another one, in the meantime, if you wait out there in the middle of the ocean and all by your lonesome, but one day, you're going to have to wake up and catch the next wave. Hallelujah.

Yeah. Here's the Shocker ready. There's a shocker. This is this is the one that's going to make your spirit uneasy and I'm happy for that password. Just because God has been, you doesn't mean that God is in your season.

I repeat just because the spirit of the Lord is in your life. It doesn't mean that it's senior season. That's why we got a lot of fustrated, men and women of God. We got a lot of frustrated, been a woman of power of authority annoying to men and women who are finding themselves. Sometimes tormented frustrated because the working the working, the whipping, the weapon they're working, they're selling so and so is, but there's no fruit.

We hold on.

Life is broken into three seasons or three elements that are season. Number one, emotional number to spiritual, and number three, physical.

You know why? I don't want to focus on the physical today.

Because you'll never understand how to move seasonally. What time does done at 8 p.m., I'm done at 8 p.m. Your time is done in your spirit or because you don't want to deal with the spiritual stuff cuz it hurts too much cuz you got to let go, some stuff that's been your. For too long to do is to change the season in the physical.

I'm preaching some true today. Because she don't want to deal with some emotional things that have already expired in your life that happened. Five years ago for 3 years ago, 6 years ago. Are you still Harbor? Nothing in the back room, the back room, the bathroom, you still got that in the bathroom that every since whatever. Challenges you to a David season spiritually and emotionally, it's always easiest to just position physically. That's why it's so easy for us to go from church to church in from pasture to pasture.

My life has not changed, but the amount of people that transitioned out and my life will not change by the amount of people that transition in it. Whose life is effective? But not having to deal with expired, emotional, spiritual seasons in. Our lives, is not the life of the church, and it's not the life of the pastor. It's the life. It's your life. It's your life.

How you choose today? What's more evil? Something that's working from the outside in? Something that working from the inside out.

You may not like yesterday, but praise God.

Play everything I'm saying defending you, is that the spirit of the Lord is trying to convince them. Get you for the way that you're living and you have already rebelled against the inspiration of the holy spirit in your life. You don't listen to the spirit of God's every time the speed of that tries to tell you something, but there's through a prophet's, what is through a dream when it's do anything. I'm challenging you to right now very quickly, press rewind on the last 6 months of your life. Are you still running the treadmill of love? Are you still running the treadmill of relationship? Are you still running the treadmill? Listen dealing with the same cycle? Emotions spiritual battle, the mental structures. Are you, are you still running through that? Are you good for one month? And then it's not good for the next? Are you going to for this month? And then the next month you're in turmoil, then you can you find peace and then you find hell.

I need you to speak in your mind and today, I challenge. release, in the name of Every expired act like you're going to your kitchen and you're picking off you open the cover and you're taking out all these things in your life that are have expiration this time. And you shouldn't even be worried about no more and they shouldn't even be taking up your time. And they shouldn't even be making you lose any type of sleep. The first boy, you can't do nothing about it. It's all this done with me.
