Family Look Like?

We need to have the proper perspective to understand how to see our part as a family.
After we get our perspective adjusted our Father will give us more focused causes this family will impact.
This move of God we are in looks like Family.
Our Father is giving a fresh perspective what what His family looks like.
Ephesians 2:19 NASB95
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,
What does family look like?
We are a family not a business.
Can you imagine if I came home and treated my family like a restaurant.
I come in sit down don’t really say hi, and I sit down and wait to be served.
Sometimes I think we treat church like we treat a restaurant or a hospital.
What if we treated family like a restaurant or hotel?
Forth of July Olympics:
Holidays
Birthdays
Sickness
When a family member has some sort of sickness or emergency, other family members will step up to serve.
This is happening all over the planet right now.
Children have changed their jobs and lifestyles drastically to take care of a hurting family member.
When you have a guest in the family who includes them?
Is one person in charge of that or all the members of the family?
Ephesians 4:16 NASB95
16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
We all have a part in this family.
If we were a business those parts would only be done with a position.
We are a family and if your here then God wants you to supply life to this family
In a business you can tell who owns that business by how much that person cares about the minor details.
In a family you can tell who care about their family by the ones who do something about the minor and big details.
In this family everyone has parts to play and many ways to serve our family and our purpose.
greeting and including guests,
lights, picking up, putting things in place,
serving food and drink,
making sure things sound good,
making sure our online family are included and can hear and see well,
I do want to honor some people who do a lot to serve our family.

Closing:
This move of God we are in looks like Family. Our Father is giving a fresh perspective what what His family looks like.
We are a family of Christ.
Our Father is walking us through our identity as a family.
He will give this family keys to the Kingdom of heaven that will impact this city and this world.
We are in a season of letting our Father graft us into His family.
We are letting Him reframe and change our perspective on how this family works and what this family looks like.
In this family everyone has parts to play and many ways to serve our family and our purpose.
Activation:
What ways are you going to serve our family?
What is one thing you can sign up for to serve a gap this family has?
Other resources:
Romans 12:4–5 NASB95
4 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Mark 3:31–35 NASB95
31 Then His mother and His brothers arrived, and standing outside they sent word to Him and called Him. 32 A crowd was sitting around Him, and they said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are outside looking for You.” 33 Answering them, He said, “Who are My mother and My brothers?” 34 Looking about at those who were sitting around Him, He said, “Behold My mother and My brothers! 35 “For whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”
Joshua 24:15 NASB95
15 “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
