The main idea in these verses is that God’s saving power to us is revealed and assured in his exalting power in Christ. On one level, Paul is teaching us about the truth about our Savior. But from the truth about the exalted Christ we see why God’s power is ours. Why should we believers be assured of Christ’s almighty power to save?
