So if you have your bible turn to John 10:7-18 if not you can follow a long on the screen in a few minutes.

We saw that the God was the shepherd that we needed.
That we have all that we need in him.
That no stranger can come in and try to steal us away because we believe in Christ and know God voice.
I ask the question last week at the end.

They can leave us.
They can not be around when we need them.
Where can we turn?

When all feels lost?
When it seems like no knows what we are going though?
At some point in your life you have felt this way.

Jesus is the good shepherd
We saw that God was the shepherd last week.
Then how did can Jesus now be the good shepherd if God was all ready the good shepherd?
You see God and Jesus are the same.
In order for us to have life and live abundantly there had to be something to take the place of sin that each one of us has.
Sin is the thing that God can not look upon.
Sin drives a wedge between us and God.
but that where Jesus come in.
Jesus lied his life down for the sheep
The shepherd will always stand in the way of someone or something coming to hurt the sheep.
Jesus does the same thing for you and I.
