There are certain buildings and structures that took so long to build that those people who began building it never got to see the finished building or structure.
They never got to enjoy it.
They never got to enjoy if its blessings.
But yet they set out to build it anyway.
Why? Their vision was based on something long term.

The Great Wall of China:

Located in Vatican City, Rome, this is one of the most impressive church buildings in the world.
It took a total of 144 years to build.
In the 4th century, Emperor Constantine commissioned its construction.
Within its walls, you can find the murals painted in the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo as well as 100 tombs under the basilica.
3. Mayan Structure
This is an ancient Mayan building complex.
Located in South America, Chichen Itza took 400 years to construct.
The first block was laid in AD 600 and the last one was laid in AD 1,000.
The Mayans had a vibrant culture and impressive architecture.
So if an earthly master tells you do something you will not see completed, What then if the KING OF KINGS asks you to begin something you might not see finished with your own eyes?
His promises are Eternal.
His Kingdom is Eternal

It is tempting to make everything about me, my needs, my wants, my desires, my my my, me me me.
We sometimes change it to “My kingdom come My will be done”
