12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
12 Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne, sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra los gobernadores de las tinieblas de este siglo, contra huestes espirituales de maldad en las regiones celestes.
We are in a battle
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
8 Sed sobrios, y velad; porque vuestro adversario el diablo, como león rugiente, anda alrededor buscando a quien devorar;
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
4 en los cuales el dios de este siglo cegó el entendimiento de los incrédulos, para que no les resplandezca la luz del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, el cual es la imagen de Dios.
18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
18 Por tanto, yo te aconsejo que de mí compres oro refinado en fuego, para que seas rico, y vestiduras blancas para vestirte, y que no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y unge tus ojos con colirio, para que veas.
18 Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.
18 Abre mis ojos, y miraré Las maravillas de tu ley.
31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
31 Entonces les fueron abiertos los ojos, y le reconocieron; mas él se desapareció de su vista.
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
36 Maestro, ¿cuál es el gran mandamiento en la ley? 37 Jesús le dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente. 38 Este es el primero y grande mandamiento. 39 Y el segundo es semejante: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. 40 De estos dos mandamientos depende toda la ley y los profetas.
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
4 Oye, Israel: Jehová nuestro Dios, Jehová uno es. 5 Y amarás a Jehová tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y con todas tus fuerzas. 6 Y estas palabras que yo te mando hoy, estarán sobre tu corazón; 7 y las repetirás a tus hijos, y hablarás de ellas estando en tu casa, y andando por el camino, y al acostarte, y cuando te levantes. 8 Y las atarás como una señal en tu mano, y estarán como frontales entre tus ojos; 9 y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa, y en tus puertas.
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
16 Pero los once discípulos se fueron a Galilea, al monte donde Jesús les había ordenado. 17 Y cuando le vieron, le adoraron; pero algunos dudaban. 18 Y Jesús se acercó y les habló diciendo: Toda potestad me es dada en el cielo y en la tierra. 19 Por tanto, id, y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo; 20 enseñándoles que guarden todas las cosas que os he mandado; y he aquí yo estoy con vosotros todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo. Amén.
