Having Perspective

Philippians 1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Hold on to the Promise

At the end of suffering for righteousness’ sake is blessing.
This promise does not include suffering for sake of unrighteousness.
The results of this promise produces a lack of fear.

How to Hold On

Instructions from Isa 8:12-13 ““Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.”
Settle in your heart who Jesus is - the Holy Lord.
John 19:10-11 “So Pilate said to him, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?” Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.””
Prepare to give an answer for the reason that you have hope.
Do it with gentleness
Do it with respect
Do it with a good conscience
Be committed for doing good and not evil.
