What I am going to teach tonight you may never have heard...
If you at some point think, “oh man! I’ve never heard that”, listen and make notes and then like anything else - repent and apply!
Live in dangerous times - belief’s are discarded for lack of revelation…
Every revival in history began with a revival of holiness, separation from God.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
Look at key words:
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
God’s order: God, Jesus, Man, Woman, Family
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
Covering: have, possess, contain, to have in hand, have within in ones self, to hold in ones heart, to be a part something greater
Uncovered: to operate illegally, without due process
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Shaven: to scrape, shave
Here is what we have learned so far...
We must all be a part of something that is greater and when we pray and prophecy covered, we honor the authority in our lives.
When we pray and prophecy uncovered, we are operating illegally and in the eyes of God it’s as though we have shaved our heads.

Shorn (different than shaven): cut short, less than shaved
If: on the condition that (a woman be not covered, shave her) - discuss covering specific to hair later
Shame: morally ugly, morally unacceptable, dishonored, virtueless, sense of shame for past acts
Glory: (same word for glory of God and of man) condition of being bright and shining, splendid, radiant, physical phenomenon, combination of heavenly and human qualities, heavens reflection into the physical world
Here is what we have learned so far...
We must all be a part of something that is greater and when we pray and prophecy covered, we honor the authority in our lives.
When we pray and prophecy uncovered, we are operating illegally and in the eyes of God it’s as though we have shaved our heads.

If you lessen your covering you are morally ugly, unacceptable, dishonorable, virtueless and shameful when God wants you to be bright and shining, a physical representation of the heavenly!
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
Three words in this scripture that stands out…
Ought: under obligation (to the covering in this case), constrained by circumstance, indebted, owe
Power: freedom, choice, control, governance, right, authority to control, bearer of ruling authority, sphere in which power is exercised
Because: through, by or with
Put these three words together: For this this cause (reason), indebted is the woman, to have authority/rule on her head with the angels.
Because of the woman’s authority, she is indebted to the angels.
Where is this power? Her head?
Focus physical hair...
Go back to verse 3 - the man.
Your man should have power on him because of your covering!
Yes physically on you head BUT spiritually on your husband!
What you see in the physical (hair) is spiritually on your husband!
This is what verse 11 and 12 is all about!
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
Together the husband and wife makes up a power, unstoppable team - when they are submitted!
Here is what we have learned so far...

When we pray and prophecy uncovered, we are operating illegally and in the eyes of God it’s as though we have shaved our heads.

When wives are properly covered, they have great authority and power in their families, empowering husbands to lead.
Man’s position of warfare: hands lifted in surrender - ONLY WAY ANOINTING CAN FLOW DOWN
Woman’s position of warfare: hands pushing straight out, stopping the enemy
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Comely: fitting, right, proper
Nature: natural character of an entity, condition or circumstance determined at birth, established order, product of nature
Paul was saying that God established you as a man and woman and it is a shame for you as a woman to take on the characteristics of a man or you as a man to take of the characteristics of a woman!
Nature has decreed distinction!This is the heart of the issue.
Satan knows that if he can get you to get out of order, he wins!
Out of that order begins with being opposite of what God has decreed for you…
That happens when you reject God’s order.
So the question becomes: what is the woman’s covering!
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
Woman’s covering and glory is her hair...
What is a woman’s covering? Her un-cut hair!
These verses of scripture have been all about a woman’s hair.
So what is long?
We have already answer that…
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
If you cut it, you might as well shave it...
But lets look at this word long…
Long:
to wear long, tresses of hair, grow long
convey or bring to a specific destination
to get back what is owed, recover
to come into possession of something, to experience something, receive
So what is there for a woman to recover?
What was lost in the garden of eden when she sinned.
So as she comes into order, her hair is stretching, growing into that what was lost!
Ladies, your hairs is your covenant with God!
God says you come under my order and allow your hair to grow and as it grows, you will rediscover what was once lost to you!
One argument has been: well this is just Corinthian custom… it don’t apply today!
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
By the time 1 Corinthians was written, the church had grown to the whole of the known world.
It included churches in every culture
Paul said it don’t matter your culture, this is what is right and there will be no fighting about it!
WHY IS THIS A BIG DEAL?!
It boils down to this, will you be what God has made you to be!
The problem with so many apostolic’s today is that they are spending so much time praying about the will of God when they wont even try to find God’s order!
Without His order, you will never find his will!
The attack today is on order.
(What is faith? AN UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S ORDER!)
Remember the centurion? Just speak the word, I understand authority… Jesus said “I have never seen such faith”!
When you understand authority/order you can’t help but to have faith!
The first thing God did was set things in order.
When you get out of order chaos ensues.
That’s why this world is fighting so hard for gay rights, they are a perversion of God’s order.
Where did it start?
1920’s with a haircut called “the bob” and the first major crack in the wall of gender distinction began!
Gender is about God’s order!

Don’t think it’s important?
Lucifer was guardian of God’s glory...
The war in heaven began as a battle for holiness and separation!
Probably, Lucifer let his hair grow!
And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Ladies on your head is the glory of God!
When Lucifer decided that he was going to get out of order God took his glory and rested it on Eve!
YOU NOW ARE THE GUARDIANS OF GOD’S GLORY!
Don’t severe the Glory!
Cherubs come close and minister based on if you are in order or not!
Glory and cherub angels go hand in hand...
Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory.
Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
Ladies you are the picture of the church!
Your unshorn, uncut hair makes you recognizable as the Bride of Christ!
When there is no clear teaching on distinction, opens door for gender confusion, homosexuality
