Water is coming!
Author: Isaiah was/ is the author of this book Isaiah and Isaiah was an Israelite and is known to the christian community as The Prophet Isaiah.
He was the son of Amoz; The Bible gives us little on the information about Amoz; only that he is the father of Isaiah.
Isaiah’s name means { The Salvation of Yahweh}
This 8th century prophet is the one who foretells the salvation of God’s people; including a return from Babylonian captivity and an eventual return to God.
Isaiah prophesied during the times of 4 kings of Judah and they were
Kings Uzziah
King Jotham
king Ahaz
King Hezekiah
From the beginning of King Uzziah to the King of Hezekiah was 90 years.
Now, Isaiah play an important role in God’s plan. he foretold the coming Messiah and brought hope to God’s people during challenging times.
The promise of hope isn’t only for the nation of Israel but for god’s people in general.
BODY:
In this 43rd chapter of Isaiah we will see that God is the redeemer of Israel.
Redeemer means[ the Purchaser, The owner]
In verse 1= we see God claims ownership to them and encourages them to not be afraid because, He ransomed them and they are his
In verse 2= He encourages them and assures to them that when they face difficulty He is obligated to rescue them.
Look at what he said.
1.
When in deep water - I’ll be with you
2. In rivers of difficuty- You will not drown.
3.
In the fire of oppression- The flames will not consume you.
WHY GOD?....
For I am the Lord, Your God, Your Savior.
That’s a praise moment there!
God returned to a theme we see repeatedly in Isaiah, those of us who are Bible readers and that is.
God’s ability to know the future because he is the one true God that knows all.
In verse 9 and 10 God call for witnesses, if you will let us use the imagination of the courtroom
He called on the nations to testify about the ability of their gods by saying cold they god see the future?
and we know the answer is No
But.....
He called on his people to be a witnesses
that’s a good place to be in.
being a witness for God.
it was no one but God and Him alone that did it.
I ain’t got nothing to do with it it was all him.
With all of that being said.
Look at number 18 and 19 verse
Isaiah 43: 18 -19 “Remember ye not the former things, Neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; Now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”
Look at the person next to you and say ; water is coming.
refreshing is coming, restoration is coming, newness is coming to your life.
I remember Apostle Hamilton ask me to be a speaker and I;m honored .
when we hung up the phone God said to me Behold I we do a new thing, now it spring forth.
I was there and he asked what is the best season? of course I like summer but the best season is the spring season to me because it is the time that what was dead or seems to be lost is restored and brought back to life or revived from a dry season.
just like the seasons on earth we as people go through season in our lives and one is a dry season.
when a person say I’m spiritually or they feel they are in a spiritual drought, they really saying they are feeling distant from God.
this not a good place to be in because in this place, we don’t see God working and the weights and burdens of life is pressing in on us.
If we be honest with ourselves, dry season are inevitable.
they come and they go.....
But what is so important about dry season is they TEACH you something;
one thing a dry season will teach you is how to wait on God yes… patience !
The enemy loves to get us in our emotions to effect us in our faith trying to cause us to give up and cave in and quit… the devil is a lie!!!
2. A dry season show you where your faith level really is.
most saint fail the test in these seasons because they didn’t manage well the friut bearing season.
What do you mean?

in the time of famine he store all from the fruit bearing season and held on to it and fed off it in the time of famine.
in other words God has 66 books you can store in your heart and when the time of attack on your faith come you can stand.
you must be able to survive the dry place.
3. Be Content
a.
You can remain content in that season base off you knowing it only temporary!
Everything has a expiration date.
Anything that is temporary is subject to change.
Apostle Paul said whatever state I’m in , I’ve learned to be content.
content simply means [ to be at ease, to find comfort, be unworried.
Paul said i’m not gonna let what i’m facing mess with my praise unto God.
Look at the person next to you and say.
My praise and my disposition is not predicted on what environment I’m in!
{I Am The Thermostat }.
My faith can be strong because I know that season change.
and I know that it won’t always be like this.
because there is expiration date to this season.
So what I must do in this season ,
is to draw from the harvest of the past season of fruitfulness.
to maintain where I am now.
I realize weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
a new season is coming
a refreshing is coming to you.
just be content
and remember if God did it before he can do it again.
if He brought you out of Egypt
Surely he can deliver from the grips of Babylon.
I don’t care what you may be going through but god promised us victory
He is obligated to keep you, you belong to him.
1. if you go through deep water - he is right there
2. if you go through many rivers - you won’t drown
3. if you go through flame of oppression - They won’t overtake you…
God said he will never leave you nor forsake you.
1. family may leave — but God won’t
2. friends may leave--- but God won’t
B. WE HAVE TO LEARN TO LET THE SPIRIT OF GOD LEAD US, HE KEEPS US SPIRITUALLY WATER AND FRUITFUL
Jeremiah 17: 7-8 “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”

When we put trust in God we are empowered to be victorious in every area of our life.
when we don’t we become spiritually dry.
