“Those who say, ‘I love God,’ and hate their brothers
or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom
they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.” It is a little
like the days when people had bumper stickers that said, “Honk if you
love Jesus.” How quickly they forgot their message when someone blew a
horn in support and angered the driver. Insincerity and double standards
are not acceptable in God’s eyes.
