By taking Jesus’ question about what others think about him seriously, we will discover so much about him, ourselves, and the world he loves. “Who do people say I am?” Why would God care about what people say about him? Why would he want me to tell him what I knew about what the crowds say about him? Does that mean I should be listening…to what they are saying about him? Why does Jesus include THEIR perspective in the conversation? Why would Jesus ask his followers this incredible question?
