There is an old saying: Ignorance is bliss.
However that is simply not true from a biblical perspective, instead the bible says:
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from serving as my priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your sons.
Knowledge can save your life, specifically knowledge of what is about to happen.
A storm and flood warning can save your life as you prepare for its impact.
A tornado warning can save your life as you prepare by finding shelter.
A cholestrol warning can save your life as you make lifestyle ajudtments to prevent a heart attack.
Jesus has given his church a specific set of knowledge regarding the future.
He has told his church about what to look out for when it comes to the end of days.
These “warning” are not threats or scaretactics, they are legitimate signs that will herald the end of humanities time on earth.
Todays message is imple: What are the sings He told us about and are they manifesting before our very eyes?

Knowing our sinfulness, knowing our lust for destruction, knowing our appities for evil - God established 3 institutes on planet Earth to act as mechacnisms to control or limit human evil and wickedness.
1: The Goverment
1: The Goverment
1 Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God.
Govermnet exists by God’s design to protect the innocent law abiders and punish the wicked law breakers.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.
When a govermnet operates in the fear of God, all those under its authority enjoy a blessed, peaceful life.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan.
2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
When a godly govermnet is in place justice is preserved, the law abiders live in freedom, law breakers live in terror, the vunerible are protected and the people prosper.
This is God’s plan for His creation of govermenet.
18 “Appoint judges and officials for your tribes in all your towns the Lord your God is giving you. They are to judge the people with righteous judgment.
19 Do not deny justice or show partiality to anyone. Do not accept a bribe, for it blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.
20 Pursue justice and justice alone, so that you will live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.
Know this: The God ordained institute of Govermnet is over.
The reality could not be more different from God’s origional purpose:
Now the law abiders live in terror. The law breakers are given more right and freedoms than the innocent.
The most vunerable, instead of being protected are now the most neglected and dehumanised.
23 Your rulers are rebels, friends of thieves. They all love graft and chase after bribes. They do not defend the rights of the fatherless, and the widow’s case never comes before them.
There are more criminals sitting in parlament than there are in all the prions of our country.
The fcats are clear: If you or I or any regular citazin of ths country said or did the things which our leaders do, we would face the full weight of the Law and justice would be swift and merciless.
For them, its a way of life with zero repocussions.
God’s fist line of defence for humanity against His wrath has fallen.
2: The Family
2: The Family
God created the family as a hiarcical system built on duty, responcibility, respect and love.
Its God’s failsafe against a failing govermenet.
Even if the govermnet fails, the family is able to maintain truth, direction and godliness.
3 Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord, offspring, a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons born in one’s youth.
5 Happy is the man who has filled his quiver with them. They will never be put to shame when they speak with their enemies at the city gate.
Within the godly family a man provides and protects:
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own family, especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
A wife brings honour to her family:
10 Who can find a wife of noble character? She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will not lack anything good.
12 She rewards him with good, not evil, all the days of her life.
Children are honerable:
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, because this is right.
Again, this is no longer the case.
The divorce rate is basically 50% right now.
60% of all children in SA have basant fathers. 60%!!!!!!
Parents perfer to be their childrens “friends” and choose not to correct or discapline them.
The rate of minors charged with violence and even murder is at its all time highest.
Absant Father, mothers who because of the ridiculously high cost of living are forced to work. Children who are raised by the TV and video games.
Parents hamstringed by the govermnet so that they are not allowed to discapline their children all add up to a simple truth:
The Family, God’s ordained institute to protect humanity from His wrath has failed.
As Jesus said:
21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.
20 Whoever curses his father or mother— his lamp will go out in deep darkness.
But hope is not lost. Not just yet.
For God in His mercy has Ordained a final Failsafe.
An institution which love, revers and honours truth more than anything.
An institute that even if the goverment should fail, even if the family should fail, this final hope remains:

The Church is the God ordained and created institution where truth and love should floursh.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
In fcat the church is the light that remains when all other lights go out.
The church is the only thing that remains which is preventing the Man of Lawlesness himself, the Antichrist from taking dominion over all of humanity.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way,
We are the one who is restraining the man of lawlesness.
The church, the truth loving bride of Jesus Christ.
But:
The Church, that last barrier of protection from God’s wrath, is crumbeling.
1 Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,
3 For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.
4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.
The progressive church, which is not a church at all.
This movment which denies the Deity of Jesus, denies the inerrant authorty of the bible, denies the need for repentace for salvation, denies the existnace of Hell, denies God’s order for men and woman, denies that we are made in the image of God, denies the trinity..
Pretty muh denies all biblical Christian belifes in currently the fasting growing sect in history.
More pastors are being caught in sexual sin than ever, every week a new pastor is in the news for sexual sin or abuse.
on the 9th of June a pastor of a church with over 8000 members was accuted of sexual abuse
Hillsong founder stepped down over covering up seual sin, a church with over 150 000 mmbers.
Over and over and over we see how the church continues to fall further and further away in sin, compromise and false teachings.
Grave soaking - lying on a grave to soak up the annointing of the dead.
Inventing new gifts, denying scripture.
The Church will soon becomes so irrelavent that thse few ramining belivers will be snathed up by the Lord.
And when that happens, all humanity will have destroyed all 3 of God’s insiatutions of grace and proection.
The only way to avoid the wrath is Jesus.
Conclusion:

Govermnet has failed.
The family has crumbled
The Church is falling.
These 3 insitutions were never given to save anyone, they were given to give humanity a time to repent and trust in Jesus.
The goverment could never save you.
The family could never save you
and the Church could never save you.
Only Jesus can save the lost.
