Big Question: How can you leave an impression that lasts?

I. Everyone Makes Impressions (1-3)
LI: What mark are you leaving on others?
II. Everyone Makes Perceptions (3-12)
LI: How do others perceive you according to your actions?
III. Everyone Has Motivations (12-18)
LI: What is your motivation?
IV. Everyone Has Desires (19-23)
LI: What is your greatest desire?
FR: Because Paul was so impressed with the glory of God in the gospel, he wanted others to be impressed by the glory of God rather than the glory of Paul.

Big Idea: Since the gospel is the only means to make an eternal impression, only one so impressed with the glory of God demonstrated in the gospel will make an eternal impression.

One impressed by the gospel . . .
Wants others to be impressed by God rather than self.
Wants others to perceive God leading in their lives.
Wants others to praise God for their acts of service.
Wants others to experience the transforming power of the gospel.
Preaches the gospel to themselves.
