Introduction
Introduction
In this Teaching, I will inform the Listener of three questions from Revelation Chapter 22.
I will utilize information from Dr. Curtis Dodson, (Chancellor of Word Wise Institute of eschatology, Located in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca) Daymond R. Duck, and John F. Walvoord to address these questions.
I believe that if you stick with me this morning you're going to receive valuable information that will change your life,
The first question I will discuss is,
What is the River with the Water of Life?
What is the River with the Water of Life?
Dr. Dodson began in the book of Genesis 1:1 ‘
that talks about how God created heaven and the earth, and from there, he compared it to
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
This new earth came down from heaven, which is the home Jesus prepared for the bride.
When Jesus was here on earth, He said that He would go away and prepare a place for us.
The new city is what Jesus prepared for his bride. In Revelation 22:1, the angel showed John a river that contains the water of life.
This river flows from the throne of God, from the Holy City to the New World.
On each side of the river of life, there were two trees of life on both sides. This river also probably services the Holy City and the New World.
Dr. Dodson believes that the tree is in a spiritual world. The fruits and leaves provide for spiritual beings.
We have to remember there will be people that came out of the tribulation with a natural body. So just like we take vitamins, Dr. Dodson believes that the leaves on these trees will provide nourishment for the spiritual bodies of the people.
So the river contains the water of life that offers spiritual healing for spiritual beings.
The second question that I will discuss is,

8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
Here we find that John was so impressed by the angel who showed him all these things that he fell on his knees to worship at the angel's feet.
From reading the Book of Revelation, this is the second time that an angel had to tell John not to worship him.
As we know, Angels are servants of God, which is also the same as John, and the prophets are servants of God.
It is a mistake to worship Angels. Only God is worthy of worship. (Any Angels Research?)
9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
Daniel wrote his prophecy several hundred years before the birth of Christ. At that time, Daniel did not understand some of the things God had shown him.
As he inquired, the fulfillment of his prophecies was a long time off, so he was instructed to seal up the prophecy until the end time.
But in the Book of Revelation, John's prophecy was already unfolding in the church age. For this reason, the message was to be left unsealed. God wants people to hear these things now (Duck).
And lastly, the third question I will discuss is,

In the Bible, prophecies are written to warn sinners of God's judgment to come in the future. The idea was that God made it possible by His grace for sinners to come to salvation.
In contrast, prophecies were given for the saints to see the blessings they would happen in eternity because they gave their hearts to God in time.
John recorded the final word of warning in Revelation Chapter 22:18,
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
John is saying that for those reading the Book of Revelation, there is a warning attached. If anyone takes words away from this prophecy book, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and the holy city described in this book (Walvoord).
Because God inspired the Book of Revelation, one can neither add nor subtract from that which is revealed. The Book of Revelation, place last in the Scriptures, introduces the Revelation of Jesus Christ in the opening verses.
Subsequently, the significant events that follow reveal the power, righteousness, sovereignty of Christ, and marvelous grace for those who come to Him in faith.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you’d would like to receive Jesus today, please pray this prayer with all of us:
Lord I believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that He died On the cross for my sins and His resurrection from the dead gives me eternal life. I ask forgiveness of my sins, and I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
