The Gift has gone on recognise and on used for many years in the body of christ.
Nature and Purpose of the Spiritual Gifts.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
List 9 Specific Gifts of the SPIRIT .
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the Spirit] for good and profit.
8 To one is given in and through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a word of knowledge and understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit;
9 To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose); to another the ability to discern and distinguish between [the utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues.
11 All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired and brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses.

1. They are gift , they cannot be earned or worked for , they are given by God as his sovergin descrestion and we must received them by faith .. which comes by hearing .
It does not take any time to receive and work in it
2. to each one .. they are available to all belivers he want us all to be part of this gift
3. Manifestation.. Indicates sth that is perceible by humman senses , the holy spirit thou invisible his work and act in us is visible.
He manifest himself in a space time world , that can be persvice by sense
4. They are supernatural .. they cannot be attain by human strength.
The are divided into 3 Group

The Purpose of the Gift
Make room for God sovernity . God can intervain his altimate control of the whole church .
Gift lifts us above our relam of natural ability . We are not limited . the manifestation of supernatural has important role to play in the church and impact we have .
Act 1-----28 .. The book of act is the only reference of the full potential of the church
Christianity is a super natural faith , you cannot separate the church from the act of the supernatural .
3. Confirm our testimony of Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,
5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,
6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,
7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Testmony of chrirst is confrim , strengthen , empower , visible amonh the church by the working of the gift of chritst.
They where not lacking in any of the Gift among them , Operation of the spiritual gifts will contunies in the Church till the end of Ages,
4. They enable all beliver to contribute to the working of ministry . for the common good.

The Bodies and his memeber .. contributing .
26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.
The beliver come to church to contribute , not just to get and be bless only.
Part 2.
The First of the 3 Gift of Revelation
THE WORD OF WISDOM .
8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,
The Gift of the word of Wisdom is not gift of wisdom , but of the WORD.. a part of him reveal in his sovernatiy to his pple.
The word of wisdom is the supernatural revelation by the spirit of God concerning the divine purpose and plan in the mind and willof God . The word of wisdom is the best gifts cos it is the revelation into the mind and purpose of GOD.
WORD of wisdom and Knowledge are very close and very different .
WISDOM is directive
Knowledge is Informative .
Word of Knowledge is a supernatural revealtion by the spirit of God concerning certina facts in the mind of God —Facts about people , places , or thing in the Past or Present .
Wisdom is given to give direction.
10 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
W& K are inter play toghther .. The word of knowledge and the word of wisdom can operater togther and prophcey can be a vehicle through which this gifts can flow .
But Difference.
The the revealtion the word of knowldge brings is always present tense or concerning something that has happened in the past , while word of wisdom is ALWAYS SPEAKING OF THE FUTURE.
2 The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
Wisdom make right use of Knowledge .
