Revelation 3:8 KJV (WS)
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
John 10:9–10 KJV (WS)
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Door - a hinged, sliding, or revolving barrier at the entrance to a building, room, or vehicle, or in the framework of a cupboard:
A usually swinging or sliding barrier by which an entry is closed and opened also : a similar part of a piece of furniture.
This morning the door in which we are referring to is not the one which you entered to walk into this building or your house, but is no other than Jesus Christ Himself.
We want to notify this fact, that there is no known power, heavy equipment, explosive, tool, or individual who can open what God has closed, or close what God has opened. This is an impossibility and a fact.
This morning I would like to talk about a few doors in which God Himself controls.
The Door Of Blessings / Door Of Judgement /Door Of Agape Love / Door Of Protection / Door Of Mercy and Grace
Judgement - a calamity held to be sent by God, the final judging of humankind by God.
Genesis 18:17 KJV (WS)
And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
God Opened A Door Of Blessings For Abraham
Genesis 18:18–19 KJV (WS)
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
God Opened A Door Of Judgement
Genesis 18:20–21 KJV (WS)
And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
God Opened A Door Of Agape Love
Genesis 18:23–24 KJV (WS)
And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
1. God was willing to close the door of judgement
2. The prayer of salavation will close the door of judgment.
Genesis 18:26 KJV (WS)
And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
God Opened A Door Of Protection
Genesis 19:1 KJV (WS)
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
1. Lot reverence the angels.
2. Lot call the angels lord.
Psalm 34:7 KJV (WS)
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
16 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
God Opened A Door Of Of Mercy and Grace
Genesis 19:16–17 KJV (WS)
And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
