THE HIGH PRICE OF SIN
Proverbs 13:15
A person with good sense is respected; a treacherous person is headed for destruction.
EL ALTO PRECIO DEL PECADO
(Proverbios 13:15)
Introduction:
Foot and Mouth
The most recent attack on the foot and mouth disease that is ravaging farms in the U.K. has been the sad slaughter of thousands and thousands of unaffected cows & sheep, together with their newborn spring lambs. This is to create a “firebreak” between the infected and the uninfected farms. Some farmers have been seen on TV talking of how difficult they’re finding it to hand over to slaughter the “innocent”. But it has to be done, many admit. If there is no other way…
Our Lord Jesus is called the Lamb of God. He died, the innocent for the guilty – the pure for the polluted, to save us from the judgement on our sins.
“There was no other good enough
To pay the price of sin..
Says the old hymn. There was no other way. And there is no other way for you to avoid the wrath of an angry God. You must turn to the Savior today & find in Him protection from the slaughter our sins deserve.

Nuestro Señor Jesús es llamado el Cordero de Dios. Él murió, el inocente por el culpable, el puro por el contaminado, para salvarnos del juicio sobre nuestros pecados.
"No había otro lo suficientemente bueno
Pagar el precio del pecado.
Dice el viejo himno. No había otra manera. Y no hay otra manera de evitar la ira de un Dios enojado. Debes volverte al Salvador hoy y encontrar en Él protección contra la masacre que merecen nuestros pecados.
1. People don't like to talk about sin today, and when they do, it is softened:
a. Abominations are called accidents.
b. Wickedness is called weakness.
c. Sin is called a slip.
d. Iniquity is called an indiscretion.

we ever realized.
4. Sin takes one farther than he wants to go, keeps him longer than he wants
to stay, and costs him more than he wants to pay.
5. Let's look at the high price of sin by glancing at the life of Samson. What did Samson's sins cost him?

I. SIN COST HIM HIS SIGHT

If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

III. SIN COST HIM HIS STRENGTH

III. EL PECADO LE COSTÓ SU FUERZA

IV. SIN COST HIM HIS SELF RESPECT

B. Sin will rob a person of every vestige of self-respect and self-esteem until he cannot even look at himself in the mirror without regret.
IV. EL PECADO LE COSTÓ SU AUTOESTIMA

V. SIN COST HIM HIS LIFE

V. EL PECADO LE COSTÓ LA VIDA
A. (Jueces 16:30).
