God WAS on the throne.

First Rain - The Great Flood.

Cleanse the world of sin.

God caused the Great Flood.

God is sovereign over the flood.

Gen 6:17-18 “17 “Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish.

18 “But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.”

Gen 7:4 “4 “For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made.””

God Is on the throne.

Psalm 29:11 “11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.”

Jesus Sent them into the storm.

Matthew 14:22 “22 Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.”

God is in control of the storm.

Do you think Jesus did not know the storm was coming?

Jesus Went to them.

Matt.

14:24-25 “24 But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.”

The Fourth Watch - around 3:00 AM

Jesus came to the disciples in the Darkest of the night.

Jesus did something.

Matt.

14:27-29 “27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”

28 Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 And He said, “Come!”

And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.”

Jesus spoke into their lives.

- Take courage - strength to get through the storm with Jesus

Jesus spoke into Peter - COME!

God WILL BE on the throne.

Ps. 29:11 “11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.”

King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Power to bind the devil.

He will be setting on the Throne.

Revelation 21:1-6 “1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” 5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”

And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.”
