Morning where to look at John chapter 17.

If you would open your Bibles and turn there with us, we're spend most of our time.

They are kind of camped out.

A lot of jumping around with in John chapter 17 This morning, I want to look at what John chapter 17 tells us about the father Son and Holy Spirit.

I was done the Lord's Supper.

We ask for the fuse, John 16, as our starting point there, and I'm going to embarrass her a little bit but Laurel came out and read through that.

You're in the Lord's supper.

And she said, my new favorite passage Clifford and I can understand why I can totally understand that.

Because this is one of those pretty lengthy glimpses behind the curtain.

You know, most of us want to be in the room where things happen, right?

Like, we want to know what's going on.

We want to be in the, ER, he loves going to meetings.

I hate going to meetings, but often times, he'll send it, the meeting minutes in an email, in a way to try and communicate.

What happened in the meeting.

No idea, nor do I care that.

We don't you get a meeting minutes, right?

If you want to truly know what's happening, you don't know what's really going on.

You need to be in the room where it happens.

Because I can tell you what happened at a meeting and you can't say, you know what happened in the meeting and you can know what God decided in a meeting.

You don't know what the relationship is like, between the people and the Beast.

if you lose the contact for the communication things get lost in the message things get misunderstood Because we all think we know how to communicate, right?

We only we know how to talk, but you often learn you really aren't saying what you're saying or think you're saying, or someone not understanding what.

They don't understand it.

What we have here is we have a moment or Jesus come use with the father.

You're not Bowman.

We can see their communication and we can understand their relationship.

Because we're in the room.

Where are the Jesus says, to give you some time to find some contacts.

He's about to retreat to the garden and a couple weeks ago, we talked about how Jesus took our lonely place.

While he's, he's really going to go find that lonely place.

So before he goes there, he gives us pray.

He says this prayer and this prayer is meant to encourage its appraised.

It meant to show the law.

But it gives us a glimpse at the trying.

This morning, we're going to look at two different things.

Real estate some truths about the train God, but more importantly, what does the Triune God mean for us?

What are the implications of believing in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

What are those implications for?

How we are from it?

This morning in John chapter 17 words.

Start with a few truths of the triangle.

Number one, there is only one God look at John 17:3.

This is eternal life.

That they may know you the only true God and the one you have sent Jesus Christ.

Holy Father, protect them by your name that you have given me so that they may be one.

As We Are One.

I've given them the glory, you have given me so that they may be one.

As we are one earpiece that in verse 22.

If you wanted to say that, this whole Jesus thing was a mess.

If you wanted to say that, this whole Jesus name was a creative store, they're a lot easier ways to start the story.

Then the Triune God Scripture, believing Jews.

Is it?

God is one throughout the scriptures.

In Isaiah 43:2 1011 new.

God was born before me.

And there will be, no, I am the Lord besides me, there is no savior.

if there was any more than one God, The Jews would have rejected and create a legend.

Create a story.

Don't you think they would have stuck to the script?

Three persons in one God of the New Testament of Jesus in the spirit, you're not going to realize that God is a try and God.

The first true that we must Proclaim is a God is one, he alone is God.

The New Testament.

But I was just your second point.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all equally.

God, look at her spot in your presence.

Would that Glory I had with you before the world exist.

So Jesus is speaking to the father and is not the father, he is in Jesus and he speaks of the glory that he had with the father existed.

Everything I have is yours, everything you have is mine and I am glorified in the longer the world.

I'm coming to you always father protecting by your name that you have given me so that they may be one.

I don't find him sitting on my couch when I walk in and enjoying my TV, right?

Or like eating my food.

When we say, what's mine is yours.

I'll do anything for you.

I can't write when Jesus says, everything I have is yours and everything.

You have is mine.

He saying we are eating Will you read me?

You don't know anything that I don't know and I don't know how many things you don't know.

We are in perfect equal relationship.

We are in perfect Conformity.

We are in perfect community.

Everything I have is yours.

Everything you have is mine and he says protect them by your name.

Write, your name is also mine and protected by your name that you've given me cuz your name is my name.

And my name is your name scriptures when God comes and says build the temple and I will put my name.
