Is 51:3
“3 For the Lord shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; And he will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness shall be found therein, Thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.”
Re 21:1-3 “1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
Eden as a Dwelling Place of God (where God walks or dwells)
Eden is presented as a sanctuary and place where God dwells -
Gen 3:8
Lev 26:12
Deut 23:14
Ezek 28:13-14
All of creation can be considered God’s temple or dwelling place...

66 Thus saith the LORD,

The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:

Eden is related to Mt. Zion
.....This mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Ps 74:2.
Mt Zion is synonymous with the city of God, the city of David, the city of Jerusalem.  Zion is the “holy mountains” on earth that the Lord loves and dwells with men.  Zion means “highest point”.  Zion is the hill where David built a citadel … a refuge and fortress.
I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” – Psalm 91:2 Zion also includes the “temple mount” area, Mt Moriah, the threshing floor that David purchased to build the Temple of God (2 Samuel 24:18-21).  Moriah means “seen by Yahweh”.
