Salvatore Roggio • Cumberland County Community Church • Sermon • • 16 views • 32:34
A clear conscience, conduct that can be copied and compassion and courage that corrects are standards of true sevants. It's faithful service, a life based on scriptures and a life lived by the Spirit that those standards come from.

We excercise judgement about many things every day. Jesus asks us to be wise in judgement and not to simply judge the outside or cursory things. We need wisdom and we need to be asking, seeking, and knocking that we might know how to treat others the way we want to be treated. It is possible to be decieved and so good judgement is of vital importance seeing that Jesus' way is narrow and there are few who find it. LORD, give us wisdom. Help us to be merciful to others. Help us to love each other enough to hold each other accountable with mercy and grace and love. Recorded at Refuge TLH on Sunday, August 5, 2019.

God has designed this world with different tools for correcting human behavior depending on the area of life wherein this behavior occurs. This design assumes the ideal of self-governed human freedom. The three main areas are the Ecclesiastical Sphere, the Civil Sphere, and the Private Sphere. Though each is distinct, each is governed by God.

God of the Second Chance #02 Jonah 2 Resistance is Futile, Submission is Sweet So, one of the things I appreciate most about this story is the full honesty with which it is told. INTRODUCTION Paul has already told us that the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit are inconsistent with one another. But a problem is caused because people who live according to the two “lists” have to associate with one another, both in the world and in the church. Now what? There is a certain…
