In this sermon, pastor John shares with us what itmeans to be rooted in Jesus. As Jesus followers we need to be growing in the right direction in service to God, to the glory of God to reach others with the message Jesus. All we do should be rooted in Jesus and the message of reconciliation.

In this passage, Jesus taught his disciples three important lessons about His person, His sacrifice, and His kingdom.

2 Peter 3:15-18 We must be grounded, on guard and growing. Peter tells us we must be growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. To bring Him be the glory both now and forever.

The three stages of spiritual maturity

When we come to Christ our problems do not all go away. Trusting in Christ changes how we handle them. It does not make them all disappear. God calls us to serve Him in our problems to use the challenges we face in life to grow more mature as Christians.
