"Love is the greatest thing in the world!" So says Miracle Max of the classic movie, "The Princess Bride." How many songs, movies, books, and so much more talk about these 4 English letters? The Lord has a LOT to say about love. But the love the Lord speaks of is far and away different than what the current cultural climate says about it. What does God consider love to be? How is it to be expressed among his people and especially to him by his people? Come with the Grace United crew as we discover the amazing holy, omniscient, omnipotent love of the only true and living God.

Jesus heals our sicknesses. Not always how we want, or when we want. Everyone that was healed by Jesus while He was on Earth still died. Those who trust Him are healed eternally and are in His presence awaiting the resurrection. Jesus demonstrated to Israel that He was truly the promised Messiah, God with Us, come to remove the curse upon creation after Adam's sin. Jesus did many great miracles and He still does. Not the least of which, He was raised from the dead and is, therefore, alive now. He has promised to raise everyone who lives and believes in Him. We have truly entered and enjoy His Kingdom knowing freedom from the fear of death! He Himself took our infirmities. Rejoice, we'll live free of sicknesses in the end.

The meme is "Law bad, Grace good." We tend to think that the Lord's primary purpose for giving us the Law is to show us that we need a Savior. While it is true that the Law is like a mirror, pointing out our sin, it is far and away more precious and valuable than a mere set of rules. Rather, Commandments 6-9 highlight the inherent dignity the Lord has given to his people. How so? Come with the Grace United crew as we discover anew and afresh how the Torah reveals our dignity.

It is always a little unnerving to come out of the office of the Dentist after you have had some work done. Sometimes your mouth and jaw have no feeling and you find yourself drooling when you drink something. You might even talk funny because you have no control and no sensation. For a period, feeling…

By Pastor Glenn Pease One of the great wars of all time was a war where all men were on the same side. The enemy was the small pox virus. It made all other foes seem puny in comparison. One of the greatest dangers for the Pilgrims and Puritans in coming to America, was this dreaded pox. They died in…

By Pastor Glenn Pease Thousands of young boys walked past the Bathwell Castle in England, and none ever dreamed of climbing up the chimney to carve his name at the top. There was one exception, however. One boy did the unusual, and his name was David Livingstone. That boy went on to become one of histories…

The Ten Lepers. This evening I want to read a story from Luke 17 (page ). It is not just a story though; it is an actual event in the life of Jesus. It happened fairly near the end of His life here on earth, He was on His way to Jerusalem where He would be put to death. [Luke 17:11-19 As Jesus made His…

Kingdom Demonstrations Mark 1:21-45 Manuscript January 18, 2009 You’ve surely heard the expression, “Actions speak louder than words.” It’s the idea that what we do is more powerful than what we say. A husband can tell his wife that he loves her, but his actions toward her demonstrate the degree to which…
