Cain started it all--responsible for the first murder in the Bible--and it was his own brother. As members of the human family, how is it that any person can kill another, when both are in the image of God? Many say, "I have never killed anybody, so I am not really evil." But are we not all capable of killing a fellow human being? No? Join the Grace United crew as we the wickedness behind Cain's murder of his brother Abel.

Is human life sacred? The "book" answer is yes, of course. If human life is sacred, what about the "environment" called a mother's womb? What or who is in there? What made the Apostle Paul such a powerhouse for God? Did he have great talent and skill? Yes but that was not where his power was. How about his Jewishness and understanding of Scripture? He did possess that but, again that was not the secret of his success. What was it that made Paul unstoppable as the Lord's "sent one"--sent to proclaim the gospel all over his world in his day? Come with the Grace United crew as we explore Paul's motive for his ministry.

In this 2nd of two parts, we again look to Paul’s example and see how his understanding of the problem of sin was the starting point of his passionate mercy toward others. The only way to understand the mercy of God is to recognize that he has that same starting point. As we progress through the central dynamics of God’s mercy here, it is clear that his mercy is a miracle.

God wants us to... 1. Be moved by His great mercies (vs. 1). 2. Dedicate every day to the Lord (vs. 1). 3. Have regular times of renewal (vs. 2).

God's salvation. . . 1. Comes from His mercy (vs. 15-24). 2. Makes us His people (vs. 25-26). 3. Will only reach a remnant (vs. 27-29). 4. Can only come by faith in Jesus Christ (vs. 30-33).

Here God gives us some important lessons... 1. About demonic spirits (vs. 1-10). 2. About our divine Savior (vs. 8-13). 3. About deceived sinners (vs. 14-17). 4. About the delivered saint (vs. 18-20).

We know that God is great... 1. Because He has chosen His children (vs. 6-13). 2. Because His will is never wrong (vs. 14-22). 3. Because His mercy is magnificent (vs. 15-18). 4. Because His glory is great (vs. 23-24).
