Gleaning from the characteristics of Hannah, we see how godly mothers invest in their children, lead by example even though they are imperfect and how mothers sacrifice time--their dreams, hopes, desires, careers, and future endeavors--to make sure their children have a better life then what they had.

Isaiah 49:15 We know of God as the Father. But we often don't realize that the Bible also pictures God like a mother. In fact, even Jesus portrayed himself like a mother hen wanting to gather Jerusalem under her wings (Matthew 23:37). God said through the prophet Isaiah that even if a mother could forget her own child (which is mostly unlikely), He will never forget us. The unconditional love that mothers have for their children is a quality given to them by God. God is the epitome of a mother's unconditional love.
