In the plagues, God demonstrates his power over Pharaoah/Egypt, over Satan, over all creation, over false gods, and over our idols. Additionally we see him set apart his people and disguise between them and the people of Egypt. Finally God exhibits his patient grace in the midst of the plagues. He is truly slow to anger.
