Suffering is the lot of all humanity

Warfare is a tragic, evil thing. It's been with us almost as long as we've been around. Where did the idea come from? And what about a guy named Og? Who was he? And the Rephaim--what about them? Nephilim, anyone? These things are talked about in "The Sihog Campaign." Come with the Grace United crew as we explore them.

How can we be better disciples? 1. Avoid distractions (vs. 17-21, 23). 2. Accept the difficulties of following Jesus (vs. 22-23). 3. Avoid pointless disputes (vs. 24). 4. Live with Christlike devotion (vs. 25-28).

Keep trusting the Lord! 1. When your world spins out of control (21:27-30). 2. When you suffer for Christ (21:27-30). 3. When you don’t understand God’s strategy (21:31-36). 4. When you tell the story of your salvation (21:37-22:1).

God wants us to see: 1. That suffering is part of salvation (vs. 19-25). 2. That lost people are headed to hell (vs. 26-31). 3. That families need fathers who care (vs. 31). 4. That real life comes from the Lord (vs. 31-34).
