Have you ever wondered how you could change the world? Some think changing the world only comes through politics while others believe it comes through religious devotion. Pastor Barry walks us through the encounter Jesus had with the Samaritan woman. Notice how Jesus engages with this woman, tells her the truth and points to the way. It's okay to be sad. Jesus and His Kingdom message are true even if you don't feel anything. Jesus speaks the truth without all the modern hype. We're deceived by trying to live from dopamine rush to dopamine rush and calling that 'spiritual life'. The Father is seeking those who will worhip Him in Spirit and truth. Worship is not a type of song. It is not necessarily singing songs at all. Workship is bowing yourself down to something. Bowing down, in your heart, to someone or something, is workship. Jesus is able to save the sick, yes, but when should He stop? When would it be okay for Him to let someone you love die. Does death matter? Does life matter? If there is eternal life, if there is resurrection, then it matters more than we seem to think. These thoughts shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge TLH in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Often, even as followers of Jesus, we find our immediate response regarding behavioral psychological issues to be more in line with an unbelieving, materialistic, naturalistic worldview. This, in spite of the fact that Jesus regularly dealt with, talked about, and affirmed the reality of the meta-physical, the unseen spiritual world in which we live. At the very least, we should pause and pray, consider, and seek the LORD in the situations in which we find ourselves in relation to the people around us in regard to both their and our behavior. Maybe there's more to humans that random, electrical impulses, synapses, and chemicals. Where do we draw the line anyhow? And who gets to decide where that line even is? God has made a world full of powerful elements. Medicine can be good. We ought to trust in God and be wise. We are to live by faith. By Pastor Glenn Pease James McGinley had a woman come forward in one of his meetings, and he took her into the counseling room and shared the Gospel with her, and then he prayed. She then asked him what he thought about a Protestant marrying a Catholic. He said it can often be very difficult for both,…

By Pastor Glenn Pease Billy Graham has preached the Gospel around the world to every race. By Pastor Glenn Pease The unexpected is the source of so much of the joy of life. Our three year old granddaughter, Jennifer, was praying at the table a couple of weeks ago. I noticed she was going faster than usual, and she came to the end saying, "In Jesus name, amen." Then she shouted, "I win." It…

By Pastor Glenn Pease Joe Bayly had a change to stay in the luxurious Hilton Hotel in Chicago. It was going to be a treat of a retreat, but then he was hit again by the x-factor. That is what he calls Murphy's Law-the law that says, if anything can go wrong it will. The hot water in his room would not…
