Jesus' Kingdom is upside down in it's priorities. Jesus teaches us to esteem others as better than ourselves and to lay down everything to be His disciple. The call to the Christian life is a call to total surrender of ourselves and our rights to the will and authority of another. While the generation of Jews to which Jesus was sent mostly rejected Him, some believed. While judgement came on those who rejected Him, some were rescued. The same is still true; for Jew or Gentile (non-Jew) alike. Jesus rescues sinners. Count the cost and come, follow Him. Shared by Jason Stuart Percy on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Refuge Christian Fellowship in Tallahassee, FL.

Luke 2021

Jesus is not surprised as we are. His humble obedience to the Father, even to the point of death, becomes for us a guiding principle as we follow Jesus. We often fail. He knows. He knew from the beginning. Still He has committed Himself to us His disciples. We have been left with two wonderful traditions by which we proclaim the good news of Jesus' Kingdom. The church of Jesus has continued in these two practices since her beginning and shall until our King returns. Make no mistake, it may look like He is failing at times. He is not. His Kingdom comes. Let us be those who watch and wait and learn to trust Him. These thoughts were shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge TLH in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
The Gospel According to Moses
Pastor Glenn • Grace United Family Church • Sermon • • 16 views • 37:53
A powerful song was recorded and sung a number of years ago by Steve Green and contains these word: "God and God alone is fit to take the universe's throne. Let everything that lives reserve its truest praise for God and God alone." The Grace United crew deals with this very thing in Deuteronomy 6.1-9. Moses reminds the people, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart . . ." Start 2022 off right, giving a listen so you reserve your truest praise for God and God alone.

If you are a parent, at one time or another you have watched your child do something, say something or react to a certain situation poorly and you have cringed because you realized that you were looking in a mirror and what you saw were some of your less laudible traits being played back to you in your…

It is a harsh, embarrassing, and humiliating thing to get an “F” on an assignment. I’m happy to say that those times were few and far between for me but when they came I always knew that I was the one responsible for the grade. I had not studied and was not prepared. We all face times of failure in life.…

We used to have an old Scottish lady that attended our church when I was growing up. She was a dear servant of God and she read her Bible every day. She used to talk about how difficult it was to understand the King James Version of the Bible. The Living Bible was fairly new then and we bought her a…

It can happen in a moment. A bad decision, an action we shouldn't have taken, a moment of fear that led to an impulse that was wrong . . . and failure invades our life. It can happen when things are going great . . . or it could happen gradually, the result of series of events that have taken place.…

By Pastor Glenn Pease Apollo 13 was one of the biggest flops in the history of our space program, and yet it was also one of the most celebrated. Can a catastrophic failure also be a colossal success? Just ask the three astronauts of that ill fated flight. It was 1970, and they were on their way to the…
