Suffering & Pain
Pastor Dean • Northridge Baptist Church • Sermon • • 9 views • 48:02
Friends can be helpful and encouraging during hard times, but they can also give misguided advice, as Job's friends did. The insufficiency of even the best of human friendships pushes us to find true wisdom through our relationship with God.

Book of Daniel
LL Clay • NorthPointe Church of God - Nacogdoches, TX • Sermon • • 15 views • 23:04
The book of Daniel is filled with mystery and powerful miracles that proved to a foreign nation the majesty and authority of the Most High God of Israel. Exploring the Bible along with recorded history, Pastor Clay walks through the book of Daniel. She will also be challenging current views on the prophecies contained within the book. Even as a teenager, Daniel's character is one of conviction over convenience. This attitude sets him apart to be used by God. We too can be blessed beyond measure by God when we are all in for Him!

Mark 2020-2021
Jason Stuart Percy • Refuge TLH • Sermon • • 31 views • 1:03:24
Often, even as followers of Jesus, we find our immediate response regarding behavioral psychological issues to be more in line with an unbelieving, materialistic, naturalistic worldview. This, in spite of the fact that Jesus regularly dealt with, talked about, and affirmed the reality of the meta-physical, the unseen spiritual world in which we live. At the very least, we should pause and pray, consider, and seek the LORD in the situations in which we find ourselves in relation to the people around us in regard to both their and our behavior. Maybe there's more to humans that random, electrical impulses, synapses, and chemicals. Where do we draw the line anyhow? And who gets to decide where that line even is? God has made a world full of powerful elements. Medicine can be good. We ought to trust in God and be wise. We are to live by faith. Shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge Christian Fellowship Tallahassee on Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Rev. Bruce Goettsche • Union Church of La Harpe Illinois • Sermon • • 381 views
We have a number of things we can be grateful for this week. Chief in our list, I would think, would certainly be our gratitude for the salvation which is extended to us through Jesus Christ. Without this salvation we are left without hope, without forgiveness, without direction and guidance. It is the…

Rev. Bruce Goettsche • Union Church of La Harpe Illinois • Sermon • • 250 views
We talk rather glibly about friendship and toss the word "friend" around rather freely. But when the Bible speaks about friendship, it does so with great seriousness. Friendship is one of the most valuable commodities of life. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) wrote: "The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to me when he discovers that someone else believes in…
