Luke 3:1-20 We must repent in order to be saved. What will you sacrifice to share the truth?

Decisions are things we all must make. Some are more significant than others. Some are more costly. We as Christians have been called to be a living sacrifice, and it is we who must decide if we will make the decisions for service and change that will result in abiding in that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

We will be looking at Thomas Watson's book "All Things for Good" over the next several weeks in Sunday School.

This week we look at a passage in Luke which discussing the return of Jesus Christ. Come and listen as we dive into what it means to be ready for Christs return. The Q&A is also recorded for this weeks talk.

Doing good to others should be one of the primary benchmarks in our service for God. But we must remember, that "Family" has priority.

Philippians 4:10-13 God is constantly at work in our lives, behind the scenes and in little ways. We need to recognize these workings as the providence of God; one of the greatest ways God demonstrates His power to us. What are our stories of God's power, God's providence?

Luke 8:22-24 As we go through life we face various types of storms. But, whatever the storm that arises, we can be assured that God is in control and He can give us calm in and through the storm.

Jesus is The Good Shepherd. Jesus is the door into the sheepfold. My trouble is believing that He is truly in control as I wrestle through the issues of life. I would do well to trust Him. God help us. I want to encourage you not to lose hope. Please don't lose heart, dear followers of Jesus. The time is short, as it ever was. God is a Great King. He is a good Father. He is more patient and kind than we have imagined Him to be. There is great joy in His Kingdom when even one sinner repents; when we change our mind and lay our trust in Him, alone. May we walk humbly considering ourselves and the gift of salvation to those who believe. God, keep us from arrogant, prideful attitudes of self-righteousness.
