God has loved and continues to love his people. Yet, despite the nature of this relationship, God's people in Malachi's day dishonour God. God's people need a great priest who is cursed, despised and discarded in their place. God's people need a great priest who won't decieve them. Thank God for Jesus who is the priest we need and helps us conform our ritual, heart and life to the nature of our relationship with God.
