James 5:1-20 Wrong doing does not go unseen. God knows what is being done and there will come a day when justice is served. Establish your heart . Stand firm in the faith. Always remember to pray! Pray earnestly, with zeal, and pray ceaselessly.

Philippians 1:27-30

Paul gives us three ways to stand firm in our faith when the rip current pulls us down.

How are we going to stand firm in our faith? In 1 Peter 5:6-11 we learn three imparatives to live by.

This week Pastor looks at the second part of "Posture" with "What do you stand up for when others are falling or sitting." The answer is biblicly clear: TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS. We begin with four eternal, non-negotiable truths and then Pastor begins to address other subjects that the TRUTH of God's Word needs to brightly shine upon in this invisible, spiritual battle.

Living as citizens of God's kingdom supercharges our mission. How do I live as a citizen of God's kingdom? 1) By standing firm in the gospel 2) By working hard together in the gospel 3) By being fearless

What are we doing with our faith? What are we doing with the gifts God has given us? Paul urges Timothy to fan his gifts into flame because this is the only life we get to use them!

1 Peter 5:8-11 We must aware and on guard from attacks from the enemy. We must be diligent and situationally aware at all times. We do this by being in God's word daily, praying ceaselessly, and recognizing the devil's decptive ways. We always have victory in Jesus! For that we give him praise.

How do we stand firm in the gospel truth and pass it on to others? Are we doing this? Are we doing this well? Let’s not teach what “itching ears” want to hear.

God’s armor as described in Ephesians 6 is to be worn not as art of battle, but as a part of daily life. It’s second-hand since Jesus wears it first, bring forth God’s epic plan of salvation and inviting us to wear it too.
