Love is Exclusive: Enter the Narrow Gate Jesus offers the “Golden Rule” as the summary of the Law and the Prophets. The essence of this rule is love, which cannot be perfectly fulfilled without God radically changing our hearts. Truly loving others begins with loving God, and love is, by nature, exclusive.
