Now Moses’s life is coming to a close and these passages reveal his desire to see God’s will come to pass even though he would not live to see it.

In this passage Jesus begins to describe for His disciples the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the world and why it is best that He should depart so that the Comforter will then come.

Here Jesus speaks of a coming sorrow as which the disciples will experience upon His departure but which shall ultimately be turned to joy.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we need to remember the truths of God’s Word.

Sunday, March 14, 2021. Matthew 7:15-23 | "On That Day Many Will Say..." [The Truth]. Many enter the wide gate, walk the easy way, and are destroyed. How is it possible to walk this way of destruction and not know it? The answer is frightening — many are deceived. This text begins with a warning to guard against those who deceive. It ends with a warning that we not deceive ourselves!

Spiritual warfare was raised against truth. These demons with seared consciences were pulling people away from What God said was good.
