The Lord is always right. The crucifixion of Jesus is the gratest injustice of all. This is Palm Sunday - Passion week. Remember the sufferings of Christ. The Lord is right in judging the wicked for their pride. The Lord is right in judging the wicked for their character and actions. The Lord is right in answering prayers. The desire for revenge is a common human experience. But revenge doesn't bring peace. We only find peace when we overcome our own bitterness. And we only truly overcome bitterness when we, firstly, trust God's justice and when we, secondly, show evidence that we've emulated God's forgiveness. Then we overcome evil with good. As usual, this recording starts with our testimonies. The sermon starts at 9:30. After this short sermon we broke into two groups to study the passage more carefully.

Giving mercy is giving people what they don’t deserve. This is a terrible business and life strategy and is an open invitation to be taken advantage of. Mercy, like meekness, is usually seen as weakness and poor judgment. Good news in the Kingdom: we will receive mercy. What we deserve is death and damnation……
