3. Manage Your Priorities.

This is difficult for many of us because many of our priorities at work are contolled by other people.
As long as we place God first, he promises to take care of the rest, but there are some practical steps we can take.
Practical Steps
When given the opportunity to prioritize your own tasks, do so and let your boss know and how it worled out.
Spend 80% of your time in your strength areas
Spend 15% of your time in areas where you are learning
Spend 5% of your time in other necessary areas.
You may have to trade off responsibilites with others.
4. Manage Your Energy.
Look at Your Calendar and determine your big rocks and your little rocks.
What are the 3 things yiou have to get done today?
Do those first
Avoid the ABC’s Of Energy Drain
A - Activity without Direction
B - Burden without Action
C - Conflict without Resolution
5. Manage Your Thinking.
“Your Mind will give back what you put into it.”
If you are too buys, make a list of what you need to reflect on at the end of the day for the next.
The greatest enemy of good thinking is business.
You have to carve out some time in the day to tink.
6. Manage Your Words.
Think about the words you are using and make sure they are moving you towards your goals.
Leaders value their time, so choose your words wisely… make them valuable.
If you are managing your thinking, it will help in the area of the words you use.
7. Manage Your Personal Life
If you do everything right at work, but your personal life is messed up, not only will you be miserable, but you will eventually bring that sourness to the job and sabotage yourself.
Climbing the ladder of success is not worth losing your marriage or your children over.

If you cannot lead yourself, Others wont follow you / respect you / or partner with you.
The Better you are at doing what you should be doing, the better chance you have for making an impact on others
Paul had enormous credibility because of the life he lived.
He weighed his words carefully because leaders influence people with their words.
When Paul stood before King Agrippa and was asked to defend himself, he was able to do that because of credibility of his life.
Paul was willing for his life to be on display.
Paul Modeled a life fully surrendered to the Lord
He encouraged everyone to follow his example.
He sacrificed for the sake of others.
He gave himself fully to the work of the Lord.
