Introduction to Colossians

What is Gnosticism?
Gnosis - Greek word means “knowledge”.
If you recieved the knowledge before you died your spirit would escape the body and go to heaven.

Belief that all flesh is evil and separate from the spiritual world.
Jesus came to give us this knowledge.
He was Spirit only, not flesh.
What you do in the flesh has no consequence to the spiritual.

Freedom from Bondage
