Jesus is the Christ because:
1. Jesus Rose from the Dead (22-29)
Nazarene - where Jesus started His ministry and the town which he was identified.
Miracles - deeds of power
Wonders - deeds of power that inspire awe.
Signs - deeds of power that inspire awe and point to a special meaning.
predetermined plan - God’s sovereign choice planned these events from eternity past.
He was not surprised or caught off guard, He willed it Himself.
God eternal plan is the best plan for the most good to be accomplished.
Foreknowledge - this must come after His predetermined plan.
He foreknew because He predetermined.
Not - He knew what would happen and what men would choose so he planned accordingly.
Personal responsibility - YOU nailed Jesus to the cross.
Peter proves that Jesus is the Messiah and then hits them with the awful truth that the whole nation of Israel murdered their Messiah (maybe some individuals present cried out with the crowd “crucify Him!”)
