“The first thing we notice—and it is very evident, both throughout this great chapter and here in the climax—is that the Holy Spirit makes all the difference in the world to our understanding.
And that means, first of all, that the Holy Spirit makes an entire difference to the way in which we think[1]”
But we have the mind of Christ.
INLEIDING
The cliché “Garbage in, garbage out” provides a good clue to the essence of the Spirit–filled Christian life.
Just as computers respond according to their programming, we respond to what fills our minds.
If we allow the Holy Spirit to program our thought patterns, we’ll be controlled and renewed by Him and live godly lives.
And that’s exactly how Stephen consistently and daily lived his life[2]
